摘要:
This invention relates to devices and methods for the study of cellulase activity in a high throughput aluminum coated microarrays using mass spectroscopy.
Glass slides coated with polyfluorinated aluminum or aluminum oxide (generally referred as an aluminum coating) provide a substrate that maintains all or most of the advantages of traditional glass sides, and allows for the use of mass spectroscopy analysis of the slides. A stable poly-fluorinated (so called the teflon-like) ACG slide was formulated with clean background under MS-TOF. Targeting the study of cellulase activities, poly-fluorinated cellobiose were immobilized on the teflon-like ACG slides, and the residues remaining on the slides were analyzed by MS-TOF after enzyme hydrolysis.
可能的應用範圍:
Microarrays, Glycan Arrays
此項發明的優點:
Use of poly-fluorinated aluminum coated glass slides together with mass spectroscopy provides a high-throughput microarray platform for evaluating the activity of cellulases.
