中研麗竹即台灣白綠竹(Bambusa oldhamii) 與中研麻竹即台灣麻竹(Dendrocalamus latiflorus)為本院植微所黃麗春教授以生物技術切取微小莖頂生長點於無菌培養基上培育成功之無病毒健康苗。因植物細胞恢復生長發育及小芽分化之最佳基本潛能，故達到恢復植物最高品質及最高產量之價值。
