This invention is a kind of electrode apparatus for Electrical Resistivity Imagine Profile (RIP) exploration that integrated polarized and non-polarized electrode function in a same body. This device have a detection switch when the device use for discharge electrodes that switch to non-polarized electrode, and when use for receiver electrode that switch to the polarized electrode automatically. This electrode device included: a metal of non-polarization electrode that setup on electrode outside, an insulation layer, and the within layer of polarization electrode device (contains metal electrode rod, and electrolytic liquid, permeable ceramic, and the insulation shell), switch circuit board, and electrode Terminal that used to be connect to resistivity controller by electronic wire. When used in field work, this device bury in a shallow hole that can automatically switch polarized or non-polarized electrodes increased its discharge in the formation and conducting effective, make the ground resistivity exploration more consistent with stratigraphic information.
