此光學成像機制搭配像散式量測系統（ADS）可成為一套完整之光學量測平台。此成像機制可觀察量測光點以及物體表面之微小結構間之距離關係，搭配一致動器可將ADS之量測光點對焦於物體表面上微小結構之不同區域，並量測此結構之高度角度及其變化。

可能的應用範圍：

1.  MEMS元件製程良率檢測
2.  光學表面輪廓儀應用
3.  以懸臂樑為基礎之生化感測器量測應用
